“how I translate “Basho“ ‘s HAIKU俳句” years ago…

“Sound of silence”
I was using this :) I guess!

I heard quietness(sound of silence) in Basho’s Haiku, so I hear “Sound of Water”…

(And it was not really like this “Kawaii” translation :) haha!)

季語は蛙(かわず) で春

These are

Golden froggie kun(仮称) 

I found in pondy pond in Mt.Kurama (Kyoto spring 2017) while I had exhibition!
(They were swim(?)ming , not jump into water tho)

季語　seasonal word is
FROG(froggy kun) SPRING

カワイイからいっかw

季語は蛙(かわず) で春

They were choosing words

They= students? …and
Basho’s choice was Furuike 古池OLD POND

山吹や　yamabuki ya (a teee=山吹)
or “古池や furuike ya”
