Before receiving his replay letter, I was thinking it might be difficult to find Japanese movie in Minnesota but he could :) (Black Rain! I guess I didn’t know how to explain my City Osaka when I was a high school student…)

Kobo Abe, I only read “The Box Man” 箱男 when I was a high school student.

About Basho, I sited (Magico Mexico) coz Rebecca and Alex Webb introduced his book (I knew famous opening line, but never read full! I’ll try sometime!)

I love Ise shrine! I want to go again sometime, if Alec is interested, We can visit Ise shrine (and Futami Okitama shrine!) for winter solstice or I want “perfect sunrise picture!” …(2 times? It was sunny! Could see Mt.Fuji!)

I know he prob can’t read Japanese(can’t use auto translate if it’s written on a paper? Or scanned paper???) …but sorry I didn’t want to write all in Japanese (some part, I didn’t write in English ごめんなさい！)
